the first thing you put forward

This wonderful talk from fellow nose-aficionado Masha Turchinsky is well-worth your next four minutes. Watch at this link for more information on the art Turchinsky discusses.

Thanks to Andrea Sparacio for sharing this link with me, and thanks to those Nosy Interviewees who have, over e-mail and in conversation, remarked on their varied relationships with their own noses, be those noses prominent, "imperious, weak, playful," beloved, or begrudgingly accepted. Your noses will always celebrated here on Nosy Girl.

  1. I'd love to share this with Margee! Much of our family banter centers around the "Smith" nose and the law that no one must capture a profile picture of anyone during family gatherings.

  2. Oh, please do share!

My dad texted after seeing this post to talk about this very thing, the "Smith" nose, and Jim's in particular. My mom observes that law with regards to her own great nose. So many missed opportunities re: profile shots!

And I'm still hoping to feature your lovely profile one of these days...
